inspired education
Bee Inspired is on a mission to spread our passion and knowledge about bees throughout our community.
We all need to better appreciate the impact bees have on our food security and ecosystem balance. We also need to better understand the threats that exist to a bee’s survival.
And to have a true understanding about all of this, we need to learn more about bees, their behaviour and the way a bee colony functions. If we all share our knowledge, we can all better appreciate the massive impact bees have on our environment.
That’s why we’ve made an unwavering commitment to spread knowledge and awareness about bees so that we can shape a better future for us and our planet.
“We are all learning, a little more each day. And with learning comes compassion, and with compassion comes positive action. The “INSPIRED” cycle continues, and the learning never ends.”
Rachael, Owner of Bee Inspired
BEE FACTS
Did you know that, around the world:
of our crops are pollinated by bees
of every mouthful of food depends on bee pollination
is the number of years bees have resiliently survived on our planet, but they are now under threat due to pesticides, climate change, habitat destruction and monocultures.
Bees preserve biodiversity and ecosystem health
Although the honey bee is an introduced species in Australia, the majority of crops they pollinate have also been introduced and would struggle to be productive without honey bee pollination.
Without them, many ecosystems would be altered or cease to exist.
By supporting bees, we're also supporting:
