Beekeeping is a fascinating journey of education and inspiration
Whether your goal is to produce honey, pollinate your veggie garden, make beeswax candles, start a new career, or help save the planet; our goal is to inspire you to fall in love with beekeeping.
Here at Bee Inspired, we have climbed the steep beekeeping learning curve, encountering many ups and downs along the way. And now, we are taking that knowledge and offering you the opportunity to be mentored and supported as you start your beekeeping journey.
Once you take the plunge and get your first hive, the responsibility of caring for bees can be daunting and at times overwhelming. When things don’t go to plan (a common occurrence), not having a mentor to lean on means you are more likely to give up. Our range of services will help you to move comfortably and confidently through your beekeeping journey.
OUR SERVICES / 01
1:1 Onsite Mentoring
Our most popular, cost effective and fulfilling way to embark on your beekeeping journey. Mentoring is the perfect way to turbo-charge your learning experience and avoid costly and time–consuming mistakes. Rachael will tailor a package that works for you and meets your goals. Mentorship packages are designed to help get you started and see you all the way through until you feel ready to “go solo”.
Applying what you learn as you go enhances the experience and gives your bees the best chance to be healthy and productive. Your mentorship will centre around reflection, guidance and encouragement; all of which builds confidence – the key to success in beekeeping. Rachael’s primary goal is for your life to be enriched through your beekeeping experience.

Virtual Mentoring
If Onsite Mentoring is not possible, Virtual Mentoring is the next best thing. If you have a phone with a camera and a stand and a decent connection, Rachael can work with you virtually and offer guidance as you go.
Rachael will offer advice, do virtual inspections, assess your hive and environment, and create a plan of action for you to get started on straight away.

1:1 Onsite Visits / Hive Management / Bee-Sitting
Already have your bees and need some help or advice? Completed a beekeeping course but needing a confidence boost before you fly solo?
Going away and need a “bee-sitter”?
Have bees but no time? We are happy to help!
Our onsite visits can also involve hive inspections, pest management and treatment, supplemental feeding, hive autopsies, swarm assistance, and onsite FlowHive honey harvesting.
